todo4teams offers integrated malware scanning for all file attachments.

By default, the ClamAV antivirus scanner is used.

Install ClamAV so that the scanner can be used as a daemon over the TCP connection, see here.

The ClamAV server does not need to be the same as the todo4teams server.

Then configure the following system properties in todo4teams:

• SCAN_ATTACHMENTS = true
• SCAN_MALWARE_METHOD with these values:

 type=clamav

host=HOSTNAME

port=PORT
replace HOSTNAME with the hostname or IP address of the ClamAV server and PORT with the port number of the ClamAV service (usually 3310), for example:

 type=clamav
host=127.0.0.1
port=3310

Optional:

SCAN_MALWARE_BLACKLIST with a list of filenames (or parts of filenames), separated by line breaks, that should always be blocked.
