Extend text modules with placeholders

Textmodules are a powerful mean to answer recurring questions fast and in a standardized way. They may not only contain text but also images, tables and other HTML-based elements. In addition to that textmodules can easily be extended by their own macro language to personalize them and dynamical insert content. Macros in textmodules are embraced by curly brackets.

There are three Objects that can be accessed by textmodules:

  • user
  • mailbox
  • workgroup

You can e.g. insert the given name and surname of the editing agent by using the following expression:

{user.firstname} {user.lastname}

Or you can e.g. insert the footer of mailbox with Id 2 with the following macro:

{mailboxes.2.footer}

Another example is the Insertion of the responsible person for group with id number 7:
