Todos are orders that are sent from a user to one or more others. Usually it involves so-called jobs which are to be done such as the processing of a single customer concern. A Todo can also be a message that is to be confirmed by the recipient or to answer.

Todos have characteristics that prohibits a distribution by e-mail to the editor:

•      There are several editors in question. The person who has the first available capacity should get the job done.
•      The task should be handled by just one person.
•      The task is urgent. It requires completion within a specified time.
•      A message requires acknowledgment of the receiver within a certain time.
•      The sender is interested in the acknowledgment of the message by the receiver. Often he is interested in the confirmation of the receiver.
