Back to Administration of SMS-Boxes...

As in all administration tabs there are two options to create a SMS-Box. If you want to create from scratch a box whose properties are not similar to any already existing box, then press the button "Create".

If you want to create a SMS-Box that is similar to an existing box and you want to change only a few points, then please select  the "original SMS-Box" in the list and press the button "Copy".

In both cases a detail-window will appear that displays all the properties of the group. The are two main tabs: the tab "Base Data" and the tab“ Receive Action“. In the tab "Base Data" containing

• Phone number
• Service-URL
• User name
• Password

are stored the access data of the SMS-Box.

Bergener und Partner can provide SMS-Numbers, that forward and adopt incomig SMS automatically to jobs in todo4teams. The data for the fields "addressee", "service-url", "user name" and "password" will be transmitted to you by Bergener und Partner for the respective phone number.

Some more parameters are todo4teams-specific:

• Completion within: Enter the time in minutes within the incoming e-mail has be processed.
• Assign owners: If incoming SMS should be assigned automatically to an owner, select this option and select a user. This user sees then the received SMS in his job-output and can monitor the timely processing. This user can also correct addressing and processing time of the SMS. If you leave this option unchecked, the sms-jobs can be forwarded by the editors in the job-input. The forwarding user will become the owner of the job and is responsible for it.
• Addressing: Set here to which group the SMS should be routed.
• Priority: Set the priority to be defaulted for the generated jobs.
• Signature text: If SMS from this source will be answered in todo4teams, this text will be automatically added as a footer.
• SMS Fetcher Status: The SMS-Box will only be read if this field is enabled.
