Create/copy System


There are two ways to create a new system. If you want to create a system whose properties are not similar to any system that has been entered before, then press the "New System" button.

If you want to create a system that is similar to an existing system and that you only want to change in a few points, then please select the "Original system" in the table. This opens the detailed view of the system. There you can create a copy of the system by pressing the "Copy" button. The mandatory fields are marked with a red star behind the identifier. They are highlighted in red as long as they are not sufficiently filled out. In the systems dialog there are 2 tabs that can be used to edit a system.

Basic Data

The first tab "Basic Data" contains the following properties of the system:

  • Name: The name of the system
  • IPs: A regular expression for filtering the sending system
  • Active: The system is only used if this field is activated.

Receive Action

This script is executed when a ticket is generated by email from a system registered in todo4teams. In this script you can store any business logic to optimally control the processing of tickets.

When you have made all the settings for this system, you can press the "Save" button to make the system available in todo4teams with these settings. You can exit this dialog at any time by pressing the "Close" button.
