Create or Copy a Division
Back to Administration of Divisions...
As in all administration tabs there are two options to create a new division. If you want to create from scratch a division whose properties are not similar to any already existing division, then press the button "Create".
If you want to create a division that is similar to an existing division and you want to change only a few points, then please select the "original area" in the list and press the button "Copy".
In both cases a detail-window will appear that displays all the properties of the division.
This window is divided into two areas that you can edit. On the left side is the branch "Details" with the following characteristics of the department:
- Name: the name of the division
- Division Status: with the option „Division Status“ you can decide, wether the division is active or locked-out.
The second branch "Memberships" is located on the right side of the window. This is a table that displays all groups and skills of todo4teams. For each group/skill can be set, whether they belong to the selected division. You can set this directly using the check box in the column of "Memberships". Enable or disable these to determine their affiliations.
When you have made all the settings for this tab, you can click on the button "Save" to save the edited division with the current settings in the system. You can exit this window at any time by pressing the button "Cancel".
