Expert-Module
In the past experts could be created by each user for doing queries. Since todo4teams version 5.2 (build 6824 from Feb 2017) this is replaced by a central expert-module, which can only be performed by superadminstrators or administrators. This change will allow the creation of a central expert database for all users.
You can access the expert-module via a separate tab when you start todo4teams in the Administrator role:
In this menu you will see all existing experts. These can now be changed, deleted and copied. You can use "Refresh" to update the list from the central database.
Via the "Create" item you will be taken to another dialog where you can define the data of a new expert. The e-mail address you have entered will then be used as part of your inquiry. The expert status "active" defines whether the corresponding expert is currently active in the system. Inactive experts will not be shown in the overview of the agents, thus they are not available for queries.
The button "Save" saves the new expert and the expert is now displayed in the parent view:
The user concept of todo4teams allows only superadminstrators the expert-module by default. If desired, administrators can also be given the appropriate rights. For this purpose the checkbox for "Experts" has to be set under "Permissions" for a user in the adminstrator role by a superadminstrator in the user administration:
Via the tab "Experts" all experts maintained in the expert-module are then visible to all users in todo4teams. Each user has then the option to mark individual experts as personal favorites via the "Favorite" checkbox.
This labeling as a "Favorite" has the consequence that the experts marked in this way appear at the top of the selection list when performing a query in the dialog.
The procedure for performing an inquiry is described in the corresponding section of the manual.
