Introduction


During the development of todo4teams two basic ideas came to mind:

  1. todo4teams as a tool to improve service quality without going through too complicated workflows to block or cumbersome operation excessively to cost a lot of time.
  2. Working with todo4teams should be fun.

To ensure this, the following concepts have been implemented:

  1. The Marketplace - In todo4teams service tasks such as on a marketplace for fresh-offered goods are offered. All persons involved have an interest in ensuring that the goods do leave the market in a fresh state. The "expiration date" is called in todo4teams "target time" and indicates the time after which the commodity and therefore the execution of the customer concern can not satisfy the needs of the customer any longer. Therefore an important focus in todo4teams lies on the remaining periods of Todos for the remaining processing time.
  2. Process-Ownership - Both the 1st-level agent that promises the customer the fullfilment of a task and the internetownership.png team on the sides of handling the case are making a promise to the customer to handle the case within a certain time. Even if the actual response to the concern will be done by the 2nd level, they remain responsible for this operation - it is "their job" as they have become the owner of Todos. In todo4teams your "own" jobs are listed in the outbox. The owner always sees the state, the remaining time and after completion of the final comments of the editor. He can intervene in time if the service aim is liable to be injured.
  3. The four-eyes principle - owner and editor together form the two-person team for a task. The fact that opening and working on jobs always appear in two lists (todo4teams output and input todo4teams) jobs are in these "critical periods" under observation of at least two people.
  4. Editing freedom - todo4teams include not a processing sequence of the Todos. Each agent "picks" the Todo from his inbox that he wants to work on next.
  5. Teamwork - by the marketplace character of the input list the individual user sees that he is supported by the team. Todos which are taken by colleagues automatically disappear from the inbox. Teams can therefore be distributed worldwide and be still in close coordination performing service tasks with todo4teams.
  6. A tool for many processes - In order to improve the quality of service in as many as possible processes todo4teams has multiple interfaces which can be generated via the Todos. In addition to the user front end there are the email inputs read by the automatic e-mails from mailboxes, SMS inputs which are passed through the received SMS to teams and additional web services that can produce "remote controlled" Todos by other IT systems such as the customer service system or the Internet Presence.
  7. In todo4teams you can also send messages. You might send a team a message and contrasting to e-mail communication you can achieve a conformation of an acknowledgment quite easily. In order to provide conceptual clarity in todo4teams both jobs and news are refered together as Todos.
